BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A Broward County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team responded to a residence on Sunday morning after reports that a neighbor pulled a gun following a dispute and then barricaded himself in his house.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 11 a.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a neighbor dispute call near the 2700 block of Northwest 11th Place in unincorporated Central Broward.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they met with the victim who stated the neighbor pulled a weapon out on her. According to investigators, the armed subject then barricaded himself inside a residence. A BSO SWAT team and BSO hostage negotiators were notified to respond.

The barricaded subject has been detained. The investigation continues.
