Detectives Search For 72-Year-Old Missing Woman

Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit say 72-year-old Gerone Beaubrun, missing from North Lauderdale, has been safely located.

25-10-8 Date: Oct. 10  2025 – Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit are asking the public for help locating Gerone Beaubrun, who vanished in North Lauderdale. She was last seen at 12:30 p.m. On Friday, Oct. 10 near the 5600 block of Southwest 12th Street. Gerone is 5 ft 3 in tall weighs about 145 lb and has black hair, with brown eyes. Clad in a shirt blue jeans and black sandals she was last seen. According to her husband she is in the stages of dementia. Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954‑321‑4274 or the BSO non‑emergency line, at 954‑764‑HELP (4357).

  1. I pray that she is found alive and well. If anyone has seen her please assist law enforcement so that she’s back home with her family.
