Motorcyclist Killed In Deerfield Beach Crash With Sugar Tanker
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that investigators are investigating an accident involving a fatality after a motorcycle crashed into a sugar tanker in Deerfield Beach.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 6:42 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a tanker truck versus motorcycle crash in the 1100 block of Southwest 10th Street in Deerfield Beach.
BSO district deputies and BSO Fire Rescue responded. On scene, they located a motorcyclist, an adult male deceased. The tanker truck carrying liquified sugar had a small leak.
BSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives were notified and are currently investigating this incident. Road closures remain westbound on Southwest 10th Street. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
