Man Attacks Deputy In Deer Creek, Flees To Fort Lauderdale
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — BSO deputies responded to a Deer Creek home for a domestic disturbance when a man attacked a deputy and fled to Fort Lauderdale.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:31 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, Broward Regional Communications received a call regarding a domestic disturbance in the area of 2400 Deer Creek Country Club Boulevard in Deerfield Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded.
On arrival, an adult male exited a residence and physically attacked a deputy. The adult male subsequently got into a car and fled the area. BSO deputies pursued the subject into the city of Fort Lauderdale where BSO units were able to take the subject into custody. Both the deputy and the subject were taken to area hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
