Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot On New Years’ Eve In Dania Beach

DANIA BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A man is in critical condition after being shot on New Years’ Eve in Dania Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a shooting call near the 700 block of Northwest First Street in Dania Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded and located an adult male that had been shot.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue also responded and the victim was transported to an area hospital as a level 1 trauma alert with life-threatening injuries. Crime scene and violent crimes unit detectives were contacted and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No further information is available at this time. The investigation continues.
