On December 30th of 2024 (Wednesday) an update from the Broward Sheriffs Office Missing Persons Unit revealed that they successfully found Estifene Lebrun—a 70 year man who had gone missing from Lauderdale Lakes—in Oakland Park and are, in the process of reuniting him with his family. An alert for a missing person named Lebrun was issued on December 30 when he was last spotted at 10 a.m on Sunday in the vicinity of the 3600 block of Northwest 40 th Street, in Lauderdale Lakes.

The Broward Sheriffs Office Missing Persons Unit has reached out to the community for assistance in finding a 70 year man who disappeared from Lauderdale Lakes area recently.
Efforts are underway to locate Estifene Lebrun who was last spotted, around 10 a.m. on Sunday near the vicinity of Northwest 40th Street. He stands at 5 feet 7 inches. Weighs approximately 135 pounds. He is described as bald. He was recently spotted in an white hooded sweatshirt with yellow accents paired with black pants by his family members who mentioned that Lebrun is battling dementia currently.
