Bso Detectives Release Surveillance Video In Unsolved Homicide

Authorities from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit have shared surveillance footage in an effort to unravel a homicide case from December in Pompano Beach involving the late Roderick Henrys shooting death.The footage captures a man believed to be the perpetrator standing by a vehicle, in the vicinity of Avondale Drives 300 block.Solemnly smoking a cigarette by himself outside the vehicle the man is seen in the video snippet. As per the investigators findings Henry had finished serving a prison term for offenses committed in Palm Beach County. Was incarcerated in a work release center at the time of his demise. On the evening of his death Henry was engaged in a conversation with an individual outside the facility. It was during this exchange that the assailant, who had been lying in wait for Henry approached him and fatally shot him. Subsequently the shooter rapidly left the scene. Investigators suspect that Henry was intentionally singled out by the perpetrator. Deputies, from BSO Pompano Beach District promptly responded to the vicinity where they discovered Henry with gunshot injuries. Emergency responders from Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived at the scene. Confirmed his passing as they found him lifeless upon arrival at the location of the incident. The Broward Sheriffs Office Homicide and Crime Scene teams promptly arrived to conduct an investigation, into the shooting incident which is currently underway.
