Authorities from Broward Sheriffs Office Special Victims Unit are requesting assistance in solving a case involving 30 Egyptian Geese that were tragically killed in a cruel manner recently near Southwest 49th Street and Southwest 120th Avenue in Cooper City around 7;45 p.m. December 28th of last year. To aid in identifying those for this heartless act of animal cruelty a reward of, up to$5 000 is being offered by Broward Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to their capture.The investigative team has also released video footage in hopes of shedding lightonthe vehicle and individuals involved. A witness reported that the animals were hit by a vehicle resembling the one shown in the image above and occupied by approximately four to five young individuals.The incident occurred in the lake easement zone between Flaming Gardens West neighborhood and Countryside Shops Plaza, in Cooper City.The vehicle was heading towards Flaming Townhomes subdivision.Detectives managed to find video evidence of the individuals through their efforts. Residents observed people driving around the neighborhood in their cars.
