Sexual Predator Arrested At George Snow Park Boca Raton
The Boca Raton Police Department tells Boca Post that an officer responded to George Snow Park in response to a complaint that a man, later identified as Charles Schulte, was exposing himself while looking at a father with his 7-year-old child. The officer quickly located Schulte when the victim pointed him out at the park. When Schulte made eye contact with the officer, he grabbed his shorts and put them back on.
While the officer was talking with Schulte, a 16-year-old girl approached and told the officer that she was also victimized by Schulte. The girl says that while she was playing tennis she saw a man that she described as a W/M in his 60s, with tan skin and wearing a white gown approached her and say hi. The girl and her friend ignored the male and continued playing tennis. The girl said that while she was playing, she made eye contact with Schulte twice and that each time he began exposing his genitals to her. The girl said that it appeared as if Schulte was scratching his genitals while looking at her; however, due to the sexual behavior of the suspect, she called her dad to leave the area.
According to records acquired by FDLE, Schulte is a registered sexual predator with arrests in multiple Florida counties for similar activity. Schulte was convicted of lewd and lascivious activity in 2000 and 2003. In 2011, he was convicted after being arrested in Palm Beach County back in 2009 for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Schulte did not provide an address to the arresting officers or the Palm Beach County Jail, leading Boca Post to believe that he is homeless.
Schulte was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 3:15 PM on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 where he remains on a $120,000 bond. The judge ordered that Schulte have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18.
