The victim commends Boca Raton Police, saying they showed up and handled the incident with professionalism. The victim elaborated, “They blocked off the gate to the community and detained the other party guests asking to describe the alleged and what he was wearing. BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A Boca Raton man is charged with criminal mischief and possession of a fake ID, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
If you are throwing a house party, you may have reason to be concerned if this guy shows up. Evangelos Nativi, 19, of Sea Bass Drive in the Baywinds community of West Boca, was arrested early Friday morning by the Boca Raton Police Department after allegedly crashing and trashing a house party in Boca Raton.
According to an arrest report from the Boca Raton Police Department, officers from the department responded to a disturbance call in The Banyans of Broken Sound off of Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton, just a little after midnight.
One officer reports, “As I was approaching, I walked up to a black Hyundai with a Hispanic male inside. The male had curly hair and was wearing a black shirt. As I went to speak with the person driving, he looked at me and then drove past me appearing to intentionally avoid me. I provided the description of the vehicle and the tag (FL NGTS37) over the radio. The vehicle was later stopped and the driver, Evangelos Nativi, was identified. Nativi was wearing black pants and Timberland boots, he also later admitted to having worn a black and white sweater while at the party where the incident occurred.”
The officer continues, “Nativi was read and advised he understood his constitutional warning. He then advised the following; he was not directly invited to this party but an unknown girl who he was talking to earlier in the night told him about it so he went to it. He did not cause the damage to the house rather it was a friend of his who looks like him but he does not know the name of. This friend whose name he doesn’t know is known for going to parties and damaging stuff. When I asked Nativi why he drove past me when I tried to stop him, he advised that he did not want to get caught but could not explain what it was he was caught doing.”
“…The damage was estimated at approximately $3000. Nativi was placed under arrest for criminal mischief FSS 806.13(1B3). A search of Nativi’s vehicle incident to arrest a fraudulent NU driver’s license was discovered in Nativi’s wallet which he admitted was his. Native was also charged with possession of a fraudulent driver’s license FSS 322. 212(1A).”
Nativi was booked into the Palm Beach County jail at approximately 5:48 AM and was released later Friday afternoon on a $6,000 bond.
