William Sidney Friedman Arrested For Contempt Of Court

BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — William Sidney Friedman of Boca Raton has been arrested and charged with contempt of court, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

William Sidney Friedman, 53, of the 10000 block of Lexington Estates Boulevard in the Lexington Estates community of West Boca Raton, has been arrested Monday morning by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that Friedman was charged with contempt of court.

William “Willie” Friedman is known in the financial community as a former stockbroker who was barred by FINRA for failing to respond to inquiries around an unpaid arbitration award (arbitration #21-00298 – July 2021).

Last year, while working for Pinnacle Investments in Boca Raton, Friedman was accused of elder abuse, unjust enrichment, investments in unsuitable securities, excessive trading, unauthorized trading, misrepresentation and material omissions of fact, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, securities, and common law fraud, negligence, and violations of other federal and state securities laws and financial industry rules and regulations.

Friedman was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 11:23 on Monday morning.
