Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located 13-year-old Mailen Ernestina Santos.
Santos was found safe and has since been reunited with her family. A missing person alert was issued on Oct. 28 after Santos was last seen in the area of the 6000 block of N.W. Ninth Avenue in Oakland Park.

OAKLAND PARK, FL (Boca Post) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help locating 13-year-old Mailen Ernestina Santos who they say was last seen in Oakland Park on Thursday, October 27th, 2022.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate a teenage girl missing from Oakland Park.

Detectives tell us that Mailen Ernestina Santos was last seen at around 3:46 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27th, in the area of the 6000 block of N.W. Ninth Avenue in Oakland Park.

Santos is about 5 feet tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Santos was last seen wearing khaki pants, a black T-shirt, a blue “Gap” hoodie and black sneakers.
