LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) — An armed security guard walks into a Lauderdale Lakes cell phone store and robs the clerk after browsing for a bit.
Broward Sheriff’s Office is looking for the masked man dressed as an armed security guard seen in this video.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives seek the public’s help in identifying a man who dressed as a security guard and robbed a cellphone store at gunpoint in Lauderdale Lakes.
At approximately 11:49 a.m., Friday, July 22, BSO investigators responded to a report of an armed robbery at a Mobile One store located at 3680 West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes. The crime occurred just moments earlier and was caught on camera.
The surveillance video shows the subject arriving in a blue four-door sedan that had plastic on the rooftop and damage to the hood. The subject, wearing a gray security guard uniform enters the Mobile One store. At first, the subject was trying to sell his phone to the employee, and then stated he was interested in buying a new phone instead. When the employee opened the shelf door where the phones are displayed for sale, the subject drew his handgun pointing it at the victim’s face. The subject produced a gray bag and demanded the employee place the phones in it. The subject is captured fleeing the scene in his vehicle, taking with him approximately $7,000 worth of phones.
