BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Below please find a list of the events going on at the Daggerwing Nature Center in December 2021. Located in the Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park at 11435 Park Access Road. In Western Boca Raton off of Cain Blvd between Glades Rd and Yomato Rd.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: AWESOME OPOSSUM
Tuesday, December 7, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

INTRO TO ARCHERY
Saturday, December 18, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: FISHY FRIENDS
Tuesday, December 21, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

RADICAL REPTILES
Tuesday, December 28, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist for a family friendly program focusing on the amazing world of reptiles! Learn about these diverse scaly creatures and meet some resident reptiles up close and personal.

ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY
Thursday, December 30, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Animal keepers have the coolest job! Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to feed, clean exhibits, and provide enrichments to the animals at the nature center. Learn what it takes to care for these special animal ambassadors.
