Thanks to the support of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), interactive light displays will illuminate the area, creating a captivating holiday experience for residents and visitors alike.
This year, Downtown in December offers a fresh twist, presenting numerous opportunities for locals and neighboring communities to revel in the holiday season. Not only can you enjoy exciting events and activities, but you’ll also have ample chances to show your support for local businesses, capture delightful photos and make cherished memories.
Light Up The Lawn (2 – 7 PM on December 5th, 2023)
City Hall, 9500 W. Sample Road
One highlight is “Light Up the Lawn.” On December 2nd from 5 to 7 p.m., head over to City Hall Lawn (9500 W Sample Road) where you’ll be greeted by magnificent holiday light displays. Don’t miss out on this perfect selfie opportunity! Throughout December, residents and visitors can explore these dazzling displays while capturing beautiful photos. Moreover, witness the grand moment when our City Commission illuminates the City Hall Christmas tree. This event promises even more delights like mouthwatering holiday cookies, occasional snow flurries, live entertainment roaming around, delicious snacks from vendors and delightful train rides (exclusively available for residents). To secure your spot on these enchanting train rides, the City of Coral Springs highly recommends pre-registering since they tend to fill up quickly. Mark your calendars for Monday, November 27 at 12 p.m., when train ride registrations will open.
