The holiday season in the City of Boca Raton starts off with a delightful evening filled with music, snowfall, opportunities for holiday photos, a magnificent tree lighting ceremony and various activities at the Mizner Park Amphitheater.
What can you look forward to? The first festive event of the season is the Holiday Tree Lighting, which promises to be an incredible evening that the entire family can enjoy.

6:00pm – Holiday Celebration
The festivities kick off with the Holiday Tree Lighting!
- Live music performances
- “Snow” flurries
- Craft station
- Opportunities for festive selfies with Santa and a Giant Snow Globe
- Elves, snowmen & reindeer in costumes
- Holiday Market
- A variety of food and drinks available for purchase
- Enjoy the tropical rhythms from the Sound of Aloha Band
7:15pm – Ceremonial Tree Lighting
Mayor Scott Singer will lead the ceremonial lighting of the tree along with City Council members. The tree will illuminate simultaneously with Mizner Park’s lighting display throughout the plaza.
7:30pm – Holiday Stage Show
Experience a delightful mix of holiday classics, Top 40 hits and more from The Johnny Walker Band.
Mizner Park will also be transformed into a magical holiday destination, adorned with 50,000 twinkling LED lights illuminating 75 palm trees scattered throughout the park. You’ll also find garlands, wreaths and delightful 2D light displays that make for fun photo opportunities!
What about the weather? The city tells us that the event will go ahead regardless of rain or shine.
Food Vendors? There will be a variety of delectable food options available for purchase.

You can enjoy free and ample parking at the following locations:
- City Hall; 201 W. Palmetto Park Road
- Building Administration; 200 NW 2nd Avenue
- Downtown Public Library; 400 NW 2nd Avenue
- City Parking Lot; 300 NW 2nd Avenue
Please note that there is limited parking available in Mizner Park garages.
