DANIA BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A woman died and another man is recovering after being shot at busy intersection.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Dania Beach on Friday night, resulting in the death of a woman and injury to a man.

On the evening of December 15th, around 9 p.m., reports were received by Broward Regional Communications regarding a shooting near the intersection of Southwest 12th Avenue and Stirling Road. Responding promptly, BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue arrived at the scene. Emergency crews found a male and female who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were swiftly transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, despite efforts from medical staff, the female victim was pronounced deceased.
