BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Days after a lead from UPS investigators detectives from the Broward Sheriffs Office apprehended a UPS worker, for pilfering iPhones and electronic devices.

On October 2nd UPS informed the detectives of BSOs Strategic Investigations Division about an employee named Brandon St. Gerard believed to have been stealing items for weeks. It was suspected that St. Gerard had been concealing the items, within the Hollywood facility and later moving them to his car before departing from work.

On October 3rd BSO investigators observed the area. Stopped St. Gerard’s vehicle after he disregarded a stop sign upon leaving the location. Upon searching St. Gerards vehicle the investigators found iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max smartphones, multiple AirPods, an Apple Watch, and various other phones and electronic devices. The images displayed above depict the boxes retrieved from St. Gerards vehicle. The collective worth of the stolen items exceeds $67,000.

Authorities report that St.Gerard admitted to the offense and the inquiry into his actions is currently in progress. St.Gerard was apprehended by authorities for stealing, than $20,000 and was taken to Broward County Main Jail.
