Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives are looking into a shooting that occurred in Tamarca and resulted in a man losing his life on New Years Day at 6 pm last Wednesday. January 1st. Broward County Regional Communications received a call about a disturbance at an address in Tamarca. As deputies were heading there they were informed that it had escalated to a shooting incident. Upon reaching they found an adult male, with a gunshot wound who unfortunately passed away at the scene.An adult woman was taken into custody. Assisted the authorities in their investigation process. Investigators, from BSOs Crime Scene and Homicide Units are currently looking into this matter. Once their investigation is finished homicide detectives will submit the case to the Broward County State Attorneys Office for examination.
