On February 20th, 2025 detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU ) announced the arrest of Jeff Doresca, a 37 year man for allegedly committing sexual assault against a woman at a health center in Oakland Park. Authorities are concerned that there may be victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The incident, in question took place on Monday February 17th at the Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center.The inquiry discovered that the victim voluntarily checked herself into the facility for treatment purposes. According to investigators findings on Sunday the 16th of February Jeff Doresca. A technician at the facility. Made multiple visits, to the victims room during nighttime hours and sexually assaulted her. Following procedures conducted by detectives to verify the victims account of events; Jeff Doresca arrived at work in the afternoon of February 17th and was subsequently arrested at the facility. He was then transported to BSOs Main Jail for processing.
