A tragic incident occurred in Pompano Beach where a passenger lost their life in a crash. The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating the fatal collision that took place at the intersection of Copans Road and Northwest Third Avenue. The collision involved a 2017 Toyota Tundra driven by Jeidson Andrade and a 2014 Honda CRV driven by Roland Lapommeray, resulting in the passenger’s unfortunate demise. The authorities were alerted to the crash just before 10;30 p.m., prompting a response from BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue teams. Further details are forthcoming as the investigation progresses.

Andrade and two passengers from the Honda were taken to Broward Health North by paramedics. Unfortunately, one of the passengers didn’t make it and was declared deceased at the hospital. Lapommeray stayed at the scene throughout. The investigation is still in progress.
