On May 23rd of 2025 at a restaurant in Pompano Beach a woman with a knife threatened an employee as per reports from detectives of Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit (VC). Seeking assistance from the public in identifying her after workers at Snappers restaurant reported an incident of aggravated assault around 10 pm Wednesday night at 600 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, in Pompano Beach. Witnesses reported that the woman displayed behavior at the restaurant; she initially claimed to be collecting an Uber online order despite there being no record of one, for her; later she intruded on diners by touching their food after visiting the restroom and proceeded to clean the counter with a wet washcloth as captured on surveillance footage. After the workers sought assistance.
