UPDATE: Boca Raton Fundraiser Launched for Son of Man Killed on Camino Gardens Boulevard

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Boca Raton Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead next to his vehicle in a parking lot along Camino Gardens Boulevard.

The killing happened at 350 Camino Gardens Boulevard, where police said 37-year-old Arman Motiwalla of Plantation was found around 1:45 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case puts detectives at one of Boca Raton’s east-side corridors, near residential neighborhoods and local businesses, as the department works to determine who shot Motiwalla and why. Police have not released details about a suspect, a possible vehicle, or what led up to the shooting.

What the department has said so far is limited but direct. Investigators are treating the case as an isolated incident, and Boca Raton Police said there is no threat to the public.

That matters for residents in the area, especially along Camino Gardens Boulevard and nearby streets, where a homicide investigation can quickly raise concern about whether a suspect is still at large or whether the violence could spill over. At this stage, the department is drawing a clear line: detectives believe this was not a random public danger.

Motiwalla was from Plantation, according to police. His body was found next to his vehicle in the parking lot, a detail that suggests detectives will likely be working through questions about why he was there, who he may have met, and whether the location was the intended site of the shooting or simply where it ended.

Boca Raton Police have not said how long Motiwalla may have been at the location before he was found. They also have not released any information about witnesses, surveillance footage, or whether officers were responding to a 911 call or another alert when they arrived.

For now, the investigation remains with Boca Raton Police detectives. The public-facing contact on the case is Detective Graham, whom the department asked anyone with information to call.

That is the next step residents should watch. As with many early-stage homicide investigations, the first public release is focused on the basics: identifying the victim, confirming the manner of death, narrowing public risk, and asking for help from anyone who may have seen something or knows something tied to the case.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is being asked to contact Detective Graham at 561-620-6175.
