BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A local model has been arrested by Boca Raton Police Department for carrying a concealed firearm.

Devin Yannie, 30, of Delray Beach, was arrested by Boca Raton Police Department for carrying a concealed firearm early this morning.

According to Yannie’s Facebook page, she is a licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, model, and more. One thing her profile doesn’t say is that she is licensed to carry a concealed firearm, which is what this arrest clearly proves.

According to the police report, BRPD officers noticed Devin acting suspiciously during a late-night traffic stop on Yamato Road in Boca Raton. Officers smelled burned marijuana in the vehicle so they were interviewing the occupants. While two other occupants were being interviewed, one of the officers observed as Yanni was concealing a firearm on the floorboard with her foot.

The firearm, a 40 caliber Glock, was fully loaded and had 1 round in the chamber. Yanni admitted she was not supposed to conceal a firearm as she did not have a concealed carry permit. It is unclear from the report if Yanni was the actual owner of the firearm or if it was one of the other occupants of the vehicle.

Yannie is currently being held on a $3,000 bond while she is facing the following felony charge:

  • 790.01(2) CARRYING A CONCEALED FIREARM
