Bryan Antonio Green Arrested For Shooting At Deputies

The person apprehended in the incident this morning is Bryan Antonio Green, born on August 10th, 1988. He was taken into custody for three charges; attempting to murder law enforcement officers, possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon and engaging in significant criminal damage.

Green is currently in the custody of the BSO jail while facing 3 counts of attempted murder and several other charges.

OAKLAND PARK, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO SWAT took a man into custody after he shot at deputies from the Grand Hotel in Oakland Park.

A large Law Enforcement response was seen near the Grant Hotel in Oakland Park early this morning as deputies responded to a shooting at the hotel.

Around 12:51 a.m. On Wednesday, December 20th, Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting incident at the Grand Hotel situated at 4900 Northwest Ninth Avenue in Oakland Park.

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office promptly arrived at the scene and established a perimeter. While they were present, several shots were fired from a hotel window toward the deputies, fortunately without anyone getting injured. In response to the situation, BSO’s SWAT team along with BSO’s Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units also arrived on site. After a standoff and more gunshots being discharged by the suspect, BSO SWAT successfully apprehended an adult male believed to be responsible for the shooting.

Currently, an active and ongoing investigation is underway to further understand this incident.
