BROWARD COUNTY, FL — For Palm Beach County residents who keep tools in work vehicles, BSO is pointing to a Broward case as a reminder of how fast thieves can clear out a truck.
Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives in Oakland Park are investigating a burglary at All American Marine Service, 2050 N.W. 29th St., where investigators say a subject broke into a work truck and stole tools valued at about $8,000.
Detectives said the burglary happened Tuesday, May 19. Investigators said the subject shattered the windshield of a work truck and removed several tools from inside the vehicle.
BSO said surveillance footage shows the subject pulling a blue foldable wagon. Detectives said the video also shows the subject breaking the back door handle of the work van and removing thousands of dollars’ worth of tools.
The primary suspect is described by detectives as an adult male. BSO said he was seen wearing a boonie hat, a black Nike t-shirt, and red shoes.

Detectives also said a possible second subject was observed. That person is described as an adult male with dreadlocks, wearing a white tank top and dark-colored pants. BSO said that subject appears to have tattoos along the upper portions of both arms.
BSO is releasing the surveillance video in hopes of developing leads that can help identify the burglar or burglars. The investigation is being handled by BSO detectives in Oakland Park.
